This is the story of an Israeli metal worker living on the Gaza border, who takes actual kassam rockets fired into Israel and creates stunning hand sculpted roses. A modern day version of "beating swords into plowshares" (Isaiah 2:4).
The message is clear: While its' enemies attempt to wipe it off the map, Israel stands for hope and peace. It's about turning destruction into items of beauty and growth. Each rose is mounted on a metal base in the shape of Israel, "growing" from Sderot, where most of the rockets have landed. A plaque marks the year and month that the rocket fell.
Israel has been portrayed as the aggressor by the UN's Goldstone Report - ignoring the fact that over 12,000 rockets have fallen in Israel and denying Israel's basic right of self-defense. This rose is a piece of history - living proof that Israel endured these rockets for so many years, yet continues to flourish. We hope that the rose is a very limited edition item!
Our call to action is simple: Help us build shelters to protect the citizens of Israel. Ashkelon is a much larger city than Sderot, well within missile range and is very unprotected. A significant portion of the proceeds from each rose goes directly to Operation Lifeshield (operationlifeshield.org) to build shelters in Ashkelon. Rockets into Roses has received lots of press including CBN, The New York Times, The Jerusalem Post, to name a few.

Our commemorative coin was designed to honor and promote the unique splendor and spirit of Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Coin, the first in a series is available in pure 24 karat gold as well as .999 fine silver and proof-like nickel. This limited edition treasure has been crafted with uncompromising quality, elegance and beauty.
The coin's artwork was commissioned to Moshe Braun, a well known artist and scribe. It features the verse "Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122:6) in Hebrew and English, as well as a panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem with the holy Temple standing on high. The reverse side depicts a beautiful rendition of the Temple Menorah.
The coin is offered with an authentic Jerusalem Stone stand, carved to resemble an actual stone of the "Kotel" (western wall), the last remaining testament to the ancient Temple.
